Q: |
What do you mean by “The Whole Internet”? |
|
|---|---|---|
A: |
Besides being the name of the company, it is a mindset for building Internet presence. Quite simply, we guarantee that the website we construct for you will provide the broadest possible exposure… to all of the Internet and its users. |
|
Q: |
So my current site only has exposure to part of the Internet? |
|
A: |
Possibly, but not in the way you think! Our designs utilize cross-browser compatible technology, which allow for full user access regardless of the browser being used. All designs are also accessible and compatible for people with special needs (e.g., vision impaired, or individuals with physical disabilities that make navigation using a computer mouse or touchscreen challenging). This requires knowledge and experience in the use of techniques which allow design elements to degrade gracefully (i.e., still provide useful functionality and similar appearance in older browsers), and sometimes alternate coding or even alternate pages for certain browsers. This is a lot of extra work, but it ensures that your site will be accessible and useful to the largest possible audience… and we charge no more for this service. |

Q: |
Can I ask questions or speak with a design consultant before purchasing? |
|
A: |
Absolutely! We never charge for pre-sale consultations, and you are under no obligation to buy. Our goal is to develop and retain not only satisfied customers, but delighted customers. Take a moment to complete our Obtain-a-Quote form or stop by our “Services” page (left). |
|
Q: |
Can I obtain a domain name through you? |
|
A: |

via a secure online order form. Please keep the following in mind:

Q: |
What happened to your guestbook? |
|
A: |
Guestbooks were a fun and appealing way of engaging your site visitors. They still can be, but there are better and safer methods now. By 'safer' we mean less likely to be a target for spammers and other bad actors intending to use your guestbook for their own purposes. We can still add a guestbook to your site, but we only recommend it for family websites, obituaries, or similar — definately not for businesses. A guest commenting system or moderated blog are probably better choices today. |

Q: |
Where did the A/V library go? |
|
A: |
The audio/video library (aka, “Media Gallery”) has been discontinued. When we launched it in 2005, it was a unique way for people to have a private audio and/or video collection on their website. But several factors forced our decision to end it. The public demand for it had diminished due to the rise in poularity of free services like YouTube and Spotify. But the final nail in the coffin was the discovery that the software module it was based on had been discontinued, and it was no longer compatible with modern PHP versions. R.I.P. Media Gallery. |
